Contract role to February 2026 with possible extention

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our organisation and manage an Accommodation and Community Service within our Young Parent’s Scheme in Rochdale.
About the RoleAs a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality and personalised service to vulnerable and homeless women and young parents. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with clients, staff, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities-
Manage the daily operations of the service, ensuring smooth and effective support is provided to all clients.

Provide guidance, supervision, and support to staff members to ensure they are delivering excellent care and meeting service objectives.

Liaise with contract managers, partner agencies, and other bodies to build strong professional relationships and enhance client support services.

Ensure that the service meets all required standards, policies, and guidelines to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
The ideal candidate will have:

Experience working with vulnerable groups, particularly women and young parents.

Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with stakeholders.

A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred services.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (desirable)
- Access to a car for work purposes
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends when required and be part of an on-call rota to support the service on call
