Children's Advanced Practitioner, RochdalePay rate £40 per hourThe Talent Crowd are recruiting for a Children’s AP within Rochdale’s Family Support and Protection Service.Rochdale Family Support and Protection Service need enthusiastic and committed Advanced Practitioners to come with us on an exciting journey to support our transition into a new way of working.Advanced Practitioners are vital in our service and support our Social Workers and the Team Managers in the operational management of the team.  Advanced Practitioners support us with the performance and quality of the service, and this is a great opportunity to enhance and build management skills while continuing to work with children and families with a reduced caseload.Rochdale is currently in an exciting transition into the family safeguarding model.  To support us in this transition we need to establish multi-disciplinary teams where specialist practitioners are co-located with social workers under a unified management structure.  This enables a multi-disciplinary whole family response through direct assessment.  This is an exciting time for Rochdale, and we need Advanced Practitioners to support us in implementing this model.In return for your commitment we can offer you the following:- A manageable caseload - to support you in engaging in real direct work with children and families- Flexible working patterns to fit around your family and personal life- Regular reflective supervision with experienced managers- Access to our new and existing training opportunities which includes motivational interviewing- A friendly modern and award winning working environment- Excellent agile working arrangements- A supportive and friendly team of Social Workers and Managers who love what they do!Our agency workers are seen as an important resource for us and as such are given the same level of support and opportunities as our permanent staff.•    We are looking for an agency worker who has significant experience in child protection work and completing care proceedings •    Significant experience to good compliance, recording and timely completion of work.•    Significant experience in support ASYE’s in the work place.Please contact Molly Rylance on or email for more information.
