Children's Social WorkerTeam: DisabilitiesLocation: RochdaleRate: £35Rochdale is committed to working with children with disabilities and their families to enable them to reach their full potential and engage in positive experiences.We have a number of children and families who currently access our short break pathway, and require some additional Social Work support for a 3 month period, while we review and update our short break offer.Within this role, you would work closely with the existing Short Breaks Co-ordinator, and alongside colleagues in the Children with Disabilities Social Work Team, and SEND Outreach Service.You would be working directly with children and families regularly to understand and review their needs, and support them to access the relevant short break provision.The role will involve working with colleagues from all agencies to ensure effective integrated service delivery, promoting the best outcomes for the child/young person and their families.You will need to be a qualified social worker with experience of working with children with disabilities and their families, be committed to relational practice, and able to undertake strengths based assessments.If you are ready for a new challenge, committed to relational practice and passionate about supporting children with disabilities and their families, we would love to hear from you!
