SEN Teaching Assistant

Cover People are currently recruiting for a full time, SEN Teaching Assistant in a Primary School based in Rochdale. The role will start ASAP.

The Role

The candidate must be an experienced Teaching Assistant with an abundance of experience in Special Educational Needs. The role will be to support a child with an EHCP and Autism and ADHD. As well as behavioral needs which will require the candidate to have good behavior management skills. If you feel that you have vast knowledge and experience with complex physical needs as well as behavior needs such as ADHD, SEMH and Autism; get in touch!

The candidate must have:

  • 6 months experience working with children
  • Experience and knowledge of supporting children with SEN and complex needs
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • DBS on update register
  • References for last 2 years work history
  • Up to date CV
