SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
  • Assisting the teacher in planning and delivering lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with other staff members and parents to support student progress

Experience:

  • Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
  • Experience supporting students with a range of SEN requirements
  • Additional training in specific areas of SEN support

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support students with SEN
  • Ability to adapt and differentiate teaching methods to meet individual student needs
