Junior Transport Planner
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: 25k-30k
With over 100 years of experience, our reputable transport and logistics company is looking for a proactive and detail-focused Junior Transport Planner to join our team in Greater Manchester. We handle a broad range of transport operations across the UK and internationally, specialising in sectors such as Food, Chemicals, and Pharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and allocate all outbound deliveries
- Coordinate vehicle allocation for collections
- Input job discrepancies and amendments
- Liaise with drivers and resolve queries
- Provide administrative support to customer services
- Handle incoming calls and general office support
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- A can-do attitude and the ability to think on your feet
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous experience is not essential, but a positive attitude is key!
