Automotive Technician - Greater Manchester 

Are you an experienced Automotive\ Diagnostic Technician and looking for your next opportunity!! We have great opportunity to join one of our well established family run Automotive Dealers based in the North West . Due to growth and business demands we are looking for experienced candidates with a minimum NVQ Level 3 who hold a valid MOT certificate to join one of our Greater Manchester Sites. 

As an experienced Technician you play your part in offering support to our aftersales team, carrying out a range of modern vehicle inspections to correct errors and faults. Working a 40-hour week Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm with an alternate Saturday.

What we're looking for

  • Fully qualified technician
  • Valid MOT Certificate 
  • NVQ Level 3 in vehicle mechanics 

Key Responsibilities

  • Experienced in vehicle inspections -mechanical/electrical components and diagnosing issues accurately
  • Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and confirming that defects have been resolved
  • Liaising with vehicle manufacturers and customers to accurately communicate faults and repairs needed 
  • Record test results and findings and maintaining records to manufactures requirements 
  • Assist in the workshop planning and the pre-diagnosis of vehicle faults, including the ordering of parts to ensure first-time fix
  • To work within an existing team of 9, empowering each other with a can-do attitude 
  • Self-motivated and committed to producing high standards to meet customer expectations
