Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Quality Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Rochester on an initial 6 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering £21.73 PAYE per hour £28.67 UMB per hour.

The Role

 Review and create First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102 Rev C
 Review complex mechanical drawings
 Produce written reports and presentations ensuring accuracy and clarity of meaning
 Support non-conformance management activities
 Support Quality Investigations

In addition, you'll also have awareness of business unit policies and processes and experience of working in a Security environment.

You

To succeed within the role of Quality Engineer you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

 The ability to interpret specifications, procedures and contract requirements
 Proven experience of creating and reviewing FAI's to AS9102 standard.
 Quality Assurance Planning and awareness of EN9100 (AS9100), APQP/PPAP to AS9145 would be advantageous

Knowledge:

 Understanding and application of ISO 9001/ EN9100 standards
 Understanding of Business Management Systems, Operational Framework and Operational Assurance process
