Morson azre working with the countries leading Defence Manufacturer who are looking for a Quailty Engineer with an electronics bias to joiin the team at Rochester.

  • Primary focal point for First Article Inspections – creating and reviewing FAIRs to AS9102 rev C.
  • Taking responsibility for the resolution of quality issues through the structured application of problem solving and root cause analysis techniques
  • Working with key project stakeholders on quality investigations.

Typical duties include.

  • Review and create First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102 Rev C
  • Review complex mechanical drawings
  • Produce written reports and presentations ensuring accuracy and clarity of meaning
  • Support non-conformance management activities
  • Support Quality Investigations

Knowledge:

  • Understanding and application of ISO 9001/ EN9100 standards
  • Understanding of Business Management Systems, Operational Framework and Operational Assurance process

Skills:

  • The ability to interpret specifications, procedures and contract requirements
  • Proven experience of creating and reviewing FAI's to AS9102 standard.
  • Quality Assurance Planning and awareness of EN9100 (AS9100), APQP/PPAP to AS9145 would be advantageous

Qualifications:

  • NC or HNC qualified in an appropriate technical discipline or equivalent Quality experience
