Electronics Test Technician

Rochester

Hours: 37 hour working week as standard, flexibility with shift patterns = increased earning potential! Day and night shifts available

Salary: Dependent on skill set and experience c.£30-35k + shift allowance OTE £40-45K + bonus

This Test Technician role is focused on testing and fault-finding electronics hardware to component level. It requires candidates with significant experience within this field skills will be assessed during the interview process so please only apply if you have the relevant background to avoid disappointment!

The main duties for this Test Technician role are:

  • Carrying out in depth testing and fault-finding of analogue and digital electronic products to component level
  • Working from circuit diagrams, you will diagnose and identify issues within an electronic system by examination of individual components.
  • Using a range of tools and equipment to carry out tests.
  • Ensuring compliance to test specifications and following processes and procedures.
  • Using your problem-solving skills to identify failures and use appropriate tools to test equipment.
  • Wiring, soldering, quality inspection where necessary.
  • Carrying out all associated digital documentation.

To be offered a role as a Test Technician for this company you will have:

  • A relevant background in Electronics Manufacturing
  • The ability to fault find to component level
  • Experience using a range of testing techniques and equipment
  • A keen eye for detail
  • A practical mindset with a good understanding of analogue and digital electronics
  • Some experience with wiring and soldering
  • Quality inspection experience
  • A good work ethic with flexibility to work various shift patterns.
  • Great communication skills.
  • The right to work in the UK permanently with no restrictions this is essential due to the nature of the business, candidates requiring sponsorship will not be considered
