Job Description:We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Bus Driver with Category D PCV and C+E experience to join our esteemed client for a temp-to-perm role. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company based in Rochester. The role involves covering various trailer work, such as fridge, curtain, low loader, and container work.
Additionally, with the PCV qualification, you will drive 30-seater buses to transport staff from various sites in Kent in the mornings and afternoons. PCV driving may increase during the harvest period to support workers on the clients various farms.
- 5 days on, 1 day off
- 5 days on, 2 days off
- Including weekends
Bus Driver - Cat D with C+E -Key Responsibilities:
- - Safely operate HGV Class 1 and buses according to company and legal guidelines.
- - Load and unload using either a forklift truck or an electric pump truck (full training provided).
- - Ensure all goods are transported safely and securely.
- - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- - Conduct vehicle checks.
- - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- - Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers.
Requirements:
- - Bus Driver with Valid UK HGV Class 1 & Category D PCV Licence
- - Bus Driver with Valid CPC Card
- - Bus Driver with Valid Tacho Card
- - Bus Driver with Proven experience in a similar role.
- - Bus Driver with Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
- - Strong organisational and time management skills.
- - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
