VWR Van Driver
Location: Rochesterm ME2 4SQ
Shift Pattern: 5am starts Monday to Friday, typical shifts 10-12 hours.
Pay Rate: 13.76 per hour
Contract Type: Temp to perm for right candidate
Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
Please note this is a multidrop role which requires a lot of driving and dropping off in central London and the surrounding areas. Please only apply if you are comfortable doing this.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods to customers in a central London and the surrounding areas
- Deliver biochemicals (e.g., bleach, cleaning products), either palletised or in small boxes.
- Use powered pump trucks and tail lifts (training provided).
- Safely operate the vehicle and adhere to standards and safety protocols.
- Handle deliveries using tail lifts and pallet trucks where FLTs aren't available.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- ADR preferred however not necessary
- No more than six penalty points on your driving licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Strong knowledge of the UK road network
