Mechanical Project Engineer Opportunity - Decarbonisation/Retrofit - Education Sector

MK Search are currently working with a well established M&E contractor who are looking to engage with an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer for their education division.

You will be working out of their Kent office providing technical engineering input into the decarbonisation of various school projects across the South of England, these projects involve the installation of air source heat pumps, upgrades of existing boiler systems, the replacement of water cooling systems, and other alternative energy services. Their projects range from 1m to 5m in mechanical value and they deliver direct to the end client on their projects.

Experience Needed:

  • Pre-construction processes and activities.
  • Management of design processes and strong knowledge of design software.
  • Related experience in construction - ideally decarbonisation on similar projects.
  • Liaison with clients and subcontractors to a high standard, upholding the company name and reputation.
  • Minimum HNC qualified (degree qualified is desirable).
