Salary: £23-£25,000
Schedule: Rotating shifts covering 24/7 - 365 day ( 4 days on, 4 days off)

Key Responsibilities

  1. Surveillance and Monitoring

    • Operate and monitor multiple CCTV screens, maintaining constant observation of designated areas.
    • Use surveillance equipment to detect unusual or suspicious activity and to identify individuals involved in possible security breaches or criminal acts

      Incident Detection and Reporting

    • Identify and assess incidents in real time, responding to potential security issues by alerting security personnel or emergency services.
    • Record and report incidents accurately, ensuring all details are documented for future review or investigation.

      System Maintenance and Coordination

    • Regularly inspect and maintain CCTV systems to ensure they are operational, troubleshooting minor technical issues when needed.
    • Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate with technical teams for repair or system upgrades.
    • Keep updated with software enhancements and ensure that surveillance protocols align with the latest technology.

Experience and Qualifications: Essential:

  • General education, including GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Good coordination and dexterity in managing CCTV systems and computer-based tasks.
  • Must pass Non-Police Police Vetting Level 1 and an enhanced DBS check.

Desirable:

  • SIA license for CCTV operations.
  • Experience in monitoring CCTV systems, with an understanding of data protection and public space surveillance regulations.
