Are you a Health and Safety Manager from a Construction background looking for a specialist and technically challenging role within a well-established multi-million £ turnover company, where you will be recognised and rewarded for your life saving work as you implement and develop the health and safety policies across the South West of England within this leading construction company?
This well-established Building Contracts company have been operating for over 20 years providing building and refurbishment contracting services within the Commercial sector to customers across the Midlands and the South East. They have continually grown each year increasing their turnover by millions whilst developing a loyal client base. They are now looking to grow their friendly team to help with their ongoing goals of development and growth.
This varied role will see you working primarily autonomously as you undertake site visits around London, the South East and the Midlands to carry out health and safety inspections and audits, accident investigations and risk assessments. You will be responsible for continual compliance to regulation and industry standards as well as working closely with contract managers, site teams and the senior leadership including the Contracts Director and Managing Director.
This exciting role would suit a Health and Safety Manager or similar looking for a varied managerial role within a well-established building contracts company offering the opportunity to make your mark on the business.
The Role:
- Carry out site visits to conduct health and safety audits and inspections
- Review and update existing risk assessments ( RAMS/CCPS)
- Role split 50/50 between office and site based work across London, the South East and some of the Midlands
- Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
The Person:
- Health and Safety Manager or similar
- Construction background
- IOSH / NEBOSH or similar qualification
- Based in Rochester ( willing to regularly travel to sites)
