Sonic Summary

The role involves processing drawings through Layout and producing detailed manufacturing drawings.
Candidates are required to draw component sheet metal parts and program them for efficient material use during punching.
A good working knowledge of Autocad and Solidworks is essential, along with experience in CNC punch programming and the Brake press process.
Ideally, candidates should also have experience operating or programming CNC machines and working with Solidworks and 3D modeling.
The position requires previous manufacturing experience in the sheet metal work environment, with a salary of $XX,XXX, and candidates should have at least X years of experience.

Duties of this role are :_

To process drawings through Layout and to produce detailed manufacturing drawings
You will be required to draw the component sheet metal parts
To program and nest the parts for punching to utilise the least amount of materials
To work with R & D on continuous improvement projects

Candidates must have a good working knowledge of Autocad and Solidworks, you will also have a good knowledge of CNC punch programming and the Brake press process.

Ideally candidates will have a knowledge of operating / programming CNC machines. You will have experience of working with Solidworks and 3D modelling and have a previous manufacturing experience within the sheet metal work environment.
