SALARY- 35,000 to 45,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a leading company based in Rochester. This role involves working on electrical systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to design, installation, and maintenance projects.

The Electrical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • A degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification
  • Experience in electrical design, installation, and maintenance within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and control panels
  • Familiarity with PLCs, automation, and motor control systems (desirable)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance standards
The Electrical Engineer role will involve:
  • Designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems
  • Ensuring compliance with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and industry standards
  • Carrying out inspections, testing, and fault diagnosis on electrical systems
