We are a reputable and expanding maintenance and installation business with a focus on working at height safety and BMU maintenance. As specialists in this field, we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Working at Height Safety Technician.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a lead engineer as part of a 2-person site team to install, maintain, and repair various permanent access equipment and fall protection systems.
Install and maintain permanent access equipment WAH systems, including fall restraint and fall arrest safety wire systems, fixed access ladders, handrail systems, gantries, and walkways.
Option to work alongside BMU engineers to maintain, repair, and test Building Maintenance Units (BMUs) on client sites.
Travel to and from job locations primarily within the Southeast, with a focus on London and the M25 area.
Meet the lead engineer at designated meeting points and travel to job sites in a company vehicle.
Benefits:
38.5-hour paid working week with a paid lunch break.
Monday to Friday with a 3pm finish on a Friday.

  • Full Clean Driving License.

  • Capacity to perform well under pressure.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience within the Work at Height industry.
  • Previous experience in similar roles or industries (e.g., LOLER inspections, BMUs, eyebolts, safety wire systems, guardrails).
  • Mechanical or electrical Engineering experience.
