The Role – Electronics Hardware Design Engineer – Senior
As an Electronics Hardware Design Engineer, you will play a key role within the engineering team, developing cutting-edge electronic control unit (ECU) designs. Working on innovative projects, you will ensure that designs meet quality, performance, and sustainability targets while addressing complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities for the Electronics Hardware Design Engineer:

  • Design and develop electronics for ECUs, meeting customer and internal requirements.
  • Analyse needs, identify gaps, and propose technical solutions.
  • Create schematics, Bills of Materials, worst-case analyses, and technical documentation.
  • Develop and maintain Electrical DFMEA, ensuring compliance with Functional Safety standards (ISO26262).
  • Support cross-functional teams, including PCB ECAD and validation teams, during design processes.
  • Ensure all designs align with cost, manufacturability, and sustainability goals.
  • Deliver technical reports and presentations to aid decision-making.
  • Skills Required for the Electronics Hardware Design Engineer:
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in electronics design.
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO26262), FMEDA, and Electrical DFMEA.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., XPedition Enterprises), simulation software, and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.
  • A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in automotive electronics hardware development is advantageous.
