We are seeking an experienced Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck driver to join our clients busy site in Medway.

You will be working outside, loading and unloading lorries, moving timber around the yard, discharging timber from the ships and picking up cargo from the terminals. Ideally candidates will have experience of moving timber / large bulky items around.

There are between 60 - 100 deliveries per day and it is very physical work. Additionally there will be occasions where candidates will need to operate a crane, this goes 10m up in the air - so if candidates have this experience it would be advantageous

Candidates need to be available to work Monday to Friday but also weekends as well. You will be required to work on an on call basis, however, you are guaranteed to have one weekend off per month.

You will be required to work a 40 hour week, which runs between two shifts of 7am to 4pm and 9am to 6pm. Candidates interested in applying will need to be able to commit to the weekend working.

The salary starts at 31,200 per annum and will increase to 40,200 once the probation period has been completed.
