Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Prison Cleared Pharmacy Technician to join a Prison pharmacy team in Kent. This is a locum position offering a minimum 6-month contract with a Monday to Friday schedule (9am-5pm). The successful candidate will have experience in the role and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care within a prison setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacy support within the prison environment.
• Dispense medications and provide advice to patients as per prescribed treatments.
• Assist in managing pharmacy operations and ensuring proper medication storage and handling.
• Work alongside other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
• Accuracy check prescriptions and medications to ensure they are dispensed correctly

Essential Requirements:

• Must be prison cleared.
• Qualified and registered as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Proven experience in an ACT role (desirable).
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamworking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Additional Information:

• This is a long-term contract with the opportunity to extend.
• £23-30 per hour, depending on experience.
• Immediate start date for January/February 2025.
