Passive Fire & Fit Out Manager
Location: Kent
Five Point Recruitment are working on behalf of a valued client who specialise in M&E Building Services.
Due to a sustained period of growth, they are now searching for a capablePassive Fire & Fit Out Managerto join them on a permanent basis.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project programmes including schedules, project milestones and deadlines.
- Preparation and management of forecast valuation documentation
- Review and track labour/material to ensure projects remain within project cost plan. Production of detailed material take off documentation to issue to buyers to procure. Review sub-contractor quotations, ensuring all subcontractor purchase orders are raised and issued.
- Undertake regular senior management site inspections to monitor progress and quality of workmanship.
- Production of CPP/health and safety documentation, ensuring review and sign off prior to the commencement of works onsite.
- Arrange/undertake regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project.
- Provide regular updates on progress, addressing any client concerns or changes in requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, expenditures, and communications. Document any changes or variations to the project scope.
- Identify potential issues and proactively develop solutions.
- Manage conflicts and mitigate risks that could impact project timelines or quality.
- Ensure quick resolution of any on-site problems to maintain project momentum.
- Stay updated on working practices, innovations and trends that could enhance future project delivery
Skills Required
- Proven time management organisational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in presenting tenders to clients on behalf of the company
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel/Word & Outlook)
- Strong understanding of the commercial & education construction sectors
- The ability to read tender specifications, drawings and produce detailed pricing cost plans The ability to self-manage time and workloads and multitask various projects sequentially Experience in a similar position
- Ability to liaise and converse with clients in a professional manner
