CAD Designer - Permanent Role - Rochester (ME2)
Our client, a subcontractor who specialise in roofing/cladding projects, are looking for a CAD Designer to join their team based out of their head office in Rochester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate 2D & 3D CAD drawings for construction, and industrial projects.
- Generate profile drawings for CNC cutting.
- Create detailed workshop manufacturing drawings.
- Develop concept drawings for tenders and client presentations.
- Responsible for ordering fabricated frames from our suppliers as well as all glass and flashing's.
- Perform material take-offs and prepare material lists for pricing and procurement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the roofing/cladding sector.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Strong understanding of construction, and industrial drawing standards.
- Experience in creating CNC profile drawings and workshop manufacturing drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
