Site Manager -Retrofit Works
Salary up to 50,000 + Car allowance

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to lead and oversee retrofit projects for social housing clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulations, while maintaining strong client relationships and high-quality standards.
This role will involve managing construction teams, subcontractors, and resources to deliver energy-efficient and sustainable retrofit solutions, such as insulation, window replacements, or other measures aimed at improving the housing stock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: Oversee all on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
- Team Management: Supervise and coordinate site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, providing leadership and fostering a positive working environment.
- Health and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and mitigating risks.
- Compliance: Guarantee works are completed in line with PAS 2035 standards and other industry requirements.
- Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing queries and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Progress Monitoring: Prepare and submit progress reports, track milestones, and manage variations.
- Material & Resource Planning: Manage material deliveries, stock levels, and on-site resources efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Carry out quality checks and snagging prior to project handover.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in managing construction or retrofit projects, ideally within the social housing sector.
- Strong knowledge of retrofit measures and standards, including PAS 2030 and PAS 2035 compliance would be ideal.
- Excellent understanding of Health and Safety practices (SMSTS/SSSTS certification is desirable).
- Exceptional organisational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise competing demands.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Proficient in IT systems, including project management and reporting software.
- A valid UK driving licence is essential.
