Providing support to our Grounds Maintenance and Civils Divisions; delivering associated materials to site, unloading materials safely and providing support to the teams on the ground.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Class 2 Hiab Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our sites using a lorry-mounted crane (Hiab). You will play a crucial role in the safe delivery of goods, ensuring goods are delivered on time and safely to various locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate a Class 2 vehicle with Hiab equipment to deliver and offload materials to various sites.
  • Ensure all deliveries are made in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects.
  • Secure loads properly and operate the Hiab crane safely and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
  • Provide support to the teams at ground level.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
  • Current Hiab (Lorry Mounted Crane) certificate.
  • Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with proficiency in operating Hiab cranes.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
