Rated 'Good' by Ofsted and known for its fantastic reputation, this school boasts an outstanding Early Years team. They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join their Reception class on a fixed-term contract for one year, starting in September 2025 or sooner.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering an engaging and nurturing learning experience for Reception class students. You will be responsible for full teaching duties, including lesson planning, assessment, and supporting children’s early development in a stimulating and inclusive environment. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a school that values both educational excellence and the well-being of all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel excited and confident to learn.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Implement innovative teaching methods to inspire a love of learning and support the development of key social, emotional, and communication skills.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and achievements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Early Years education.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and its practical implementation.
- Passion for early childhood education and creating an outstanding learning experience.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
