As a Procurement Compliance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our supply chain service providers comply with all relevant laws and regulations governing food safety, health, and sanitation. You will also ensure compliance with HMRC's applicable laws and regulations as they apply to our specific industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor procurement activities for compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Support the Deputy Procurement Manager in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of supplier facilities to identify and report any potential compliance issues.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Educate staff on food safety, health, and sanitation regulations and procedures.
  • Conduct audits of food and beverage vendors to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Investigate reports of foodborne illness or other health and safety concerns and take appropriate action.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of sophistication.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or compliance roles.
  • Familiarity with procurement regulations and best practices.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS) are a plus.
