PPA Cover Teacher (Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2)
Location: Rochester, Medway
Salary: £160 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Contract: Full-time, long-term starting ASAP (until the end of the academic year)

We are working with an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Primary School in Rochester - known for its commitment to providing a high-quality, inclusive education with a focus on creativity and innovation. The school are seeking a dedicated and confident PPA Cover Teacher to join their team, providing cover across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

About the Role
As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of primary classes, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher. You will manage the classroom environment, maintain behaviour standards, assess pupils' learning, and provide feedback to the class teachers. This role requires flexibility, strong classroom management, and the ability to adapt to different teaching environments.

You will receive support from the senior leadership team and collaborate closely with other staff to ensure that students receive high-quality learning experiences.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Strong classroom management skills with a resilient and hardworking attitude
  • A flexible, adaptable, and positive approach to teaching
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Eligible to work in the UK (valid visa required)
