Demand Planner // Rochester Hybrid 3 days on site // 12 Month FTC // £43,000 per annum

My client, a leading manufacturer committed to delivering high quality products and innovative solutions to their customers, are currently recruiting for a Demand Planner on an initial 12 month FTC basis. The purpose of this role is to provide accurate supply chain planning to ensure all required stock is purchased in a timely manner.

Role and responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analysing sales trends, historical data, and market dynamics
  • Identify and resolve supply chain constraints to ensure timely product availability and smooth operations
  • Produce the departments on time delivery KPIs
  • Aiding other members of the Supply Chain team as required
  • Support the implementation of demand planning systems and tools to improve forecast accuracy and streamline processes.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to understand demand drivers and anticipate changes in demand patterns.

Experience and expertise:
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction.
  • 3+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and processes
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals and objectives.
