Supply Desk are seeking a passionate and engaging MFL teacher, specialising in French, for a full-time, flexible supply contract in a large, reputable Ofsted rated ‘good’ co-educational secondary school in Rochester. This is an ideal opportunity for a dedicated French teacher who is open to flexible roles while still delivering high-quality teaching to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. You'll take on teaching responsibilities including lesson delivery, assessments, and potentially supporting extra-curricular activities, all within a supportive and collaborative setting.
About the Role:
As a French specialist, you will play an essential role in delivering engaging lessons and fostering a love of languages in students. You will work alongside the school's leadership team, contributing to the growth and success of the Modern Foreign Languages department. Your role will involve planning and delivering high-quality lessons, monitoring student progress, and being part of the school's broader community.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Specialises in French and is confident in delivering outstanding lessons to students with varying abilities in Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Is passionate about languages and encourages active student participation both in and outside the classroom.
- Is organised, with strong attention to detail, capable of managing teaching responsibilities including lesson delivery and progress tracking.
- Enjoys working collaboratively with a team to support the school's goals and contribute to student success.
- Lives locally to Rochester or within a reasonable commuting distance, and is open to full-time, flexible supply contracts.
