Overview:


We are working with a specialist provider of access and safety solutions for buildings across the UK. This company focuses on the installation, servicing, and repair of essential access equipment, including guard rails and fixed access ladders, ensuring the highest standards of safety and functionality.
We are looking for a Junior Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a good mechanical skillset who is eager to learn and develop in a hands-on engineering role. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal position for someone early in their career or looking to transition into a technical field.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation: Assist in the installation of guard rails, fixed access ladders, and other safety-related access equipment on commercial and industrial buildings.
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Support the servicing and repair of installed systems to ensure continued safety and compliance.
  • Learning & Development: Work closely with senior engineers to gain hands-on experience and develop technical skills.
  • Site Support: Follow safety procedures and industry regulations while working on-site.
  • Travel & Flexibility: Operate primarily across London, with occasional travel to locations as far north as Liverpool/Manchester.


Key Requirements:

  • A good mechanical skillset and a willingness to learn.
  • Some hands-on experience in a mechanical, construction, or engineering role (preferred but not essential).
  • A valid UK driving license (mandatory).
  • Must have their own vehicle to meet the Senior Engineer at designated locations each morning before heading to site.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments.
  • Ability to travel and occasionally stay away from home for projects.
