Contract Job Opportunity – PowerShell Developer (Ticketing Automation)Remote (UK-Based) | ? 6 Months | Outside IR35
An IT MSP are on the lookout for an experienced PowerShell Developer to join us on a 6-month remote contract to support an exciting ticketing automation project. This role is Outside IR35 and offers the opportunity to work with a small, agile team modernising IT operations.
 PowerShell Developer Responsibilities:-
Develop, test, and deploy PowerShell scripts to automate and streamline ticketing workflows.

Integrate various platforms and services, including PRTG, Halo, and Datto.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and implement automation processes across the service desk.

Create documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Troubleshoot and resolve scripting issues to ensure seamless integration and automation.

Strong experience with PowerShell scripting (automation, custom modules, error handling, logging).

Hands-on experience with:

PRTG Network Monitor – API integration, alert automation

Halo PSA – Ticket lifecycle automation, webhook configuration

Datto RMM – Scripting tasks, API integrations

Solid understanding of ITSM and service desk operations.

Comfortable working independently and proactively in a remote environment.

Duration: 6 months (potential extension)
