Our client, a leading clinical waste company, is seeking a dedicated and proactivePlantSupervisorto join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about safety and efficiency in a fast-paced operational environment.

Shift Pattern:

  • Schedule: 4 on, 4 off
  • Hours: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess daily workloads and effectively delegate tasks to appropriate staff members while maintaining clear communication.
  • Oversee the preparation of daily delivery schedules for operations.
  • Monitor and maintain all machinery to ensure proper functioning, communicating any issues to relevant personnel.
  • Control the flow of activity in the plant to provide timely service to team members and trailers upon arrival.
  • Take ownership of all compliance and safety training for plant departments.
  • Ensure operations run safely and efficiently, adhering to company standards.
  • Manage staff under your supervision, ensuring all work meets the high standards set by Albus.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and inform the Plant Manager of any staffing issues.
  • Conduct visual checks on machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety.
  • Report any breakdowns or issues with the plant immediately to the Maintenance Engineer and Plant Manager for safe and timely resolution.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Unload/load materials from incoming and outgoing vehicles.
  • Prioritize the health and safety of yourself and all staff members during all work activities.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving the operation of both lines and the warehouse.
  • Ensure the building and all stock within are kept safe and secure.
  • Assist with housekeeping duties as requested by the Plant Manager.
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines to maintain a safe and orderly facility environment.
