Height Safety Engineer

Job Title: Fall Protection Engineer / Access Engineer / Cradle Engineer / Height Safety Engineer / Rope Access Technician

Location: London-based with occasional travel to Liverpool, Manchester, and across the UK

We are expanding our team and looking for Fall Protection Engineers, Access Engineers, and Cradle Engineers to join our innovative workforce and work on cutting-edge systems ensuring safety at heights.

As a Fall Protection Engineer, you will:

• Service, Repair, and Maintain: Inspect and maintain fall protection systems, including cradle and safety wire systems, ensuring compliance with BS7883:2019 and other safety standards.
• Install New Systems: Assist in the installation of fall protection equipment, adhering to technical and regulatory standards.
• Deliver Outstanding Service: Act as an ambassador for the company, ensuring clients receive the highest level of professionalism and support.
• Collaborate and Lead: Work closely with the team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
• Travel and Work Onsite: Primarily operate in London with occasional travel to project sites across the UK, including Liverpool and Manchester.

• Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing fall protection systems or similar equipment (Lead Engineer).
• Basic knowledge of fall protection systems (Junior Engineer - full training provided).
• Technical qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Experience working to BS7883:2019 standards (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• A valid UK driving license (mandatory).
• Flexibility to travel and stay overnight when required.

• Competitive Pay: Earn 40,000 perannum (Lead Engineer), with overtime pay at enhanced rates:
  • 1.5x on weekdays and Saturdays.
  • 2x on Sundays and bank holidays.
