We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our clients small friendly team. The company is a medium size construction company based in the Rochford area.
The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and be proficient in various office software such as Microsoft office. Have a can do attitude and be willing to help out in any area as required. Experience in a construction / engineering / manufacturing setting would be helpful however not required.
Responsibilities
- Answering inbound phone calls - As office administrator you will be the first contact point for our customers so a friendly helpful manner is a must.
- Processing customer orders.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinate office supplies and inventory management to ensure availability of necessary materials.
- Support team members with administrative tasks as needed.
- Work closely with the repairs department to produce customer quotes.
- Basic accounts experience would be a bonus.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent clerical skills, including typing accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professionalism.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
