We are seeking a skilled Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join our team in Rochford. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in handling oversized loads such as metal, timber or carpet.
Due to the location, it is essential that candidates have their own transport.
Day-to-day of the role:- Operate a forklift with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Responsible for moving oversized loads including metal, timber, and carpet.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials in the warehouse.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance on the forklift to ensure it is in good working order.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage inventory and space.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Counterbalance Driver
- Ideally you will hold or have experience driving a combi truck.
- Experience in handling oversized loads such as metal, timber, and carpet.
- Valid forklift operator’s license.
- Must be a car driver due to the location of the job.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and coordination.
