Reed are working with a 20-bed home in Rochford, Essex to recruit a dedicated CQC Registered Manager. This role is ideal for a compassionate individual with a strong background in healthcare management, who is committed to providing high-quality, personalised care to residents.

• CQC Registered Manager, 20-bed Care Home, Elderly
• Rochford, Essex
• £38,000- £43,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday, plus on-call duties

Day to Day of the Role:

• Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring a smooth and efficient running of services.
• Ensure the care home complies with all relevant regulations and guidelines to maintain the highest standards of care.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the delivery of personalised care plans for residents.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Coordinate and monitor resident care plans, ensuring individual needs and preferences are met.
• Conduct regular health and well-being assessments of residents, adapting care plans as necessary.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, integrated care.
• Manage budgets and resources to ensure the care home operates within financial targets.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation, ensuring all care activities are accurately recorded.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with CQC framework
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively.
• Strong decision-making skills, with the capacity to make informed choices under pressure.
• A compassionate and caring approach to resident care.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
