A leading Aerospace manufacturer, who are committed to delivering high quality to products, are currently on the lookout for a Quality Inspector to join their team! This role offers a unique perk of a 4 day working week, providing excellent work life balance!

As a Quality Inspector you will be required to:

  • Carry out inspection, qualification, FAIR, test, and release activities on products before booking them into Finished Goods
  • Inspect manufactured parts according to QMS, ensuring adherence to manufacturing routing and quality plans
  • Ensure product traceability, batch control, and correct handling of materials
  • Apply the Release Stamp following QMS Stamp Control Procedures
  • Monitor and report on subcontract performance, scrap, and rework
  • Conduct testing and inspections (e.g., Gauge R&R, hardness/conductivity/bridge testing)
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve product or quality issues

Experience required:

  • Strong experience in quality engineering, particularly in aerospace manufacturing
  • Proficient in using measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, CMM, tensile testing machines)
  • Knowledge of ISO9001:2008 and AS9100 standards
  • Experience with inspection, testing, and product release processes
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
