The children at this school are curious, kind and enthusiastic students, who enjoy coming to school and learning new and exciting things. There are a number of students who have SEMH and need 1-1 support, to ensure their emotional and academic growth.

Your new role and responsibilities:** Supporting children in small group interventions and on a 1:1 basis.** Encourage pupils to stay motivated and on track during their lessons.** You will be required to support in classes, assisting pupils in overcoming barriers to learning and dealing with behavioural issues.** Creating a safe and positive learning environment where pupils feel valued and respected.** Supporting the teacher in planning and delivering lessons that meet the individual needs and interests of pupils.
Experience/ Qualifications:** Previous classroom experience in a similar role.** A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or social care (desirable but not essential).** TEAMTEACH trained (desirable but not essential).** Calm, patient and resilient approach.** The ability to facilitate a safe and positive learning environment and de-escalate any threatening or aggressive behaviour.** Positive attitude.** Team player.
