The company has a loyal client base which is a combination of different industries including; transport, computing, retail and property. They also provide audit services to multiple charities and solicitors.Duties/ Requirements:

  • Supporting a varied general practice portfolio across accounts, Tax, VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping, working with various portfolio of clients.
  • Preparation and submission of statutory accounts under FRS102 and FRS105.
  • Preparation of self-assessment returns.
  • Bookkeeping and submissions for VAT clients.
  • Bookkeeping for client accounts up to trial balance.
  • Knowledge of Xero and quickbooks.
  • Assisting with payroll processing.
  • Help contribute towards numerous audits being requested to complete on behalf of clients within strict deadlines
  • Preparation of tax computations and assisting senior staff members with HMRC queries on behalf of clients, proactively handling enquiries.
  • Working directly with clients, building strong rapport and problem-solving.
  • Leading record management, ensuring we have all relevant and accurate information.
  • Able to communicate with offshore accounting staff members.
  • Working closely with senior team members to ensure expectations and deadlines are met.
