LGS Vision is collaborating with a modern accounting firm seeking a Senior Associate to join their team near Romford.
The role involves preparing accounts for small and medium-sized limited companies and LLPs, as well as management accounts and cash flow projections.
Candidates should be ACA/ACCA-qualified or part-qualified, with experience in bookkeeping packages like Sage and Xero, and advanced Excel skills.
The salary for this position ranges from £52,000 to £55,000, and a standard working week is 37.5 hours with hybrid working options.
Previous audit exposure is beneficial, and applicants must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and capable of both team and independent work.

LGS Vision are working alongside a very modern, forwad-thinking firm of accountants who are going strength to strength. Our client is looking to bring on board a Senior Associate to join the team on the outskirts of Romford. Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of small and medium sized limited company and LLP accounts primarily from a trial balance as well as manual client records.

Preparation of accounts

Providing detailed discussion notes for client meetings on accounting and tax related aspects

Direct client involvement - working with the client to solve queries and provide recommendations.

Management accounts preparation and cash flow projections

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

ACA/ACCA-qualified or part-qualified

Knowledge of IRIS accounts production would be advantageous

Good knowledge of bookkeeping packages including Sage and Xero

Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis techniques

Comfortable with complex reconciliations such as CIS and VAT

Some previous audit exposure would be beneficial

Must be highly enthusiastic and self-motivated

Can work as part of a team or independently

The ability to drive would be useful

Package:

£52,000 - £55,000
Standard working week is a 37.5-hour week on a hybrid basis (with up to 2 days a week working from home)
Core working hours are 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday
25 days holiday + bank holidays
