We are seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Coordinator to join our client's team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals within an educational environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safeguarding within the education sector and possess the necessary qualifications and experience to manage complex cases effectively.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee and manage all safeguarding issues within the educational environment.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any safeguarding concerns or incidents.
- Maintain detailed records of all cases and actions taken.
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all.
- Provide training and guidance on safeguarding procedures to staff and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest safeguarding policies and regulations.
- Must hold a Designated Safeguarding Lead Qualification.
- Proven experience working in an educational environment.
- Strong background in a safeguarding role with hands-on experience responding to safeguarding issues.
- Skilled in complex case management.
- Desirable:Â Experience working in a Further Education (FE) College setting.
