In this dynamic ledger clerk role, you will take ownership of coordinating and managing multiple subcontractor payment runs with exceptional accuracy and efficiency. Your expertise will directly support the company’s ongoing growth and reputation for reliability within the industry.

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Input subcontractor ledger certifications into the COINs system, utilising data from PayApps
  • Ensure accurate calculation and processing of labour-material splits, as well as CIS and VAT allocations
  • Handle the weekly subcontractor ledger payment process, securing approval from the Commercial Director
  • Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors to ensure timely receipt and processing of subcontractor certifications
  • Conduct CIS verifications for new subcontractors and perform annual compliance checks for existing subcontractors
  • Distribute monthly CIS statements to subcontractors
  • Verify that subcontractor insurance details are current and compliant before authorizing payments
  • Match and attach subcontractor invoices to COINs, ensuring alignment with draft certifications
  • Enter purchase ledger invoices into COINs when subcontractor-related tasks allow
  • Oversee the weekly labour payment run when subcontractor workload permits
  • Carry out additional duties relevant to the position or other reasonable tasks as assigned
