The Caretaker position is based in Romford and reports to the Head of Estates.
The salary for this role ranges from £28k to £30k, with a requirement of prior estates or caretaking experience.
The successful candidate will perform outdoor maintenance, general upkeep, and various maintenance jobs while supporting the estates team.
A proactive approach to improving service standards and a focus on customer experience is essential.
The candidate must be able to start ASAP and will need to pass a DBS check with no previous convictions.

Reports to: Head of Estates
Location: Romford
Salary: £28k-£30k
Type: 37 hours per week

Main Duties

Outdoor maintenance of the site
Typical caretaking duties
General upkeep and a variety of maintenance jobs
To operate as part of the estates team in the care, security and operation of all site buildings and grounds.
To support in the daily operation and availability of all sites.
To assist the Head of Estates in preparing maintenance, development & project plans
Handle goods in and portering tasks by receiving, delivering, and maintaining records of equipment and parcels, and conducting health and safety checks
To adopt a proactive approach towards improving service standards year on year, with strong emphasis on providing a professional and memorable customer focussed experience.

Requirements

Estates, caretaking or related experience
Able to start ASAP
Knowledge of DIY
Trade experience desirable
Able to pass a DBS check
No previous convictions
