FMCG Admin required to join a leading UK Wholesaler to aid with large scale company growth based in Romford. Within this role you will receive a competitive salary, bonus opportunities on top of salary, hybrid working, rising holiday package, company discount and excellent progression.

Our client specialises within the Retail and FMCG sector, working with some of the biggest industry leading brands, supplying goods to customers across the UK, bringing to market product categories that range from Crisps and Snacks, Household Goods and Toiletries to Groceries, Pet Care and Beer, Wines and Spirits.

FMCG Administrator Job Overview
  • Support the existing Senior Export Management team with all aspects of export paperwork / stock details / vehicle and warehousing planning and communication.
  • Start with a small portfolio of own accounts and build this up over time and with the support of senior management team.
  • There will be some existing business, but also clear requirement to proactively add new retail business to the portfolio.
  • Manage Trade Show leads document and follow up on leads from all Trade Shows visited from by the team
  • Achieve defined sales targets on a monthly / quarterly basis
  • Manage Gross Margin and "margin mix" to achieve targeted levels
  • Selling new products and tracking brand distribution at account level
  • Identify and drive new long term retail sales opportunities / brand development partners

General Day To Day

  • Work closely with the buying team
  • Liaise with the operational team to plan and ensure excellent customer service
  • Hands on day-to-day administration of wide variety of export orders under guidance / supervision of the management team
FMCG Administrator Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience within FMCG
  • Strong Admin skills
  • A real desire to further progress in their career with the opportunity to progress into a Key Accounts Manager
  • Experience with Export is not a necessity but is desirable
