Job Summary
We are seeking Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistants to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for early childhood education and demonstrate strong leadership skills. This role involves supporting the development of children in a nurturing environment while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities tailored to the needs of children.
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children in the nursery.
- Support children's learning and development through play and structured activities.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements to inform future planning.
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain high standards of care and education.
Skills
- Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and staff.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood education is crucial.
- A valid driving licence may be advantageous for potential off-site activities or training sessions.
