m2r Education are proud to be working with a brand new Islamic School in Romford, London which is opening in March 2025. We need a Head of EYFS/Nursery Manager to join this incredible project!

With the opening of the school on the horizon, they are focused on creating a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for both students and staff. As they finalise the light refurbishment of the premises, they are seeking a committed and adaptable Head of EYFS/Nursery Manager to help them prepare the EYFS section for their grand opening.

As the Head of EYFS, you will ensure the highest standards of care, education, and management within the EYFS setting as well as taking responsibility for implementing the core values throughout the nursery and primary.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Professional Status (EYPS).
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an EYFS setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in managing a Nursery or Reception class.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and statutory requirements.
  • Experience in safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Leadership training qualification, such as NPQ EYL or NPQSL (Desirable)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
  • UK Right to work
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to undergo one)
