Key Responsibilities:
  • Emergency and Reactive Call-Outs: Swiftly respond to emergency and reactive call-outs, addressing drainage issues for a diverse range of clients.
  • Advanced Techniques and Tools: Utilise High Pressure Water Jetting, Core Cleaning, De-Scaling, CCTV Surveys, and Vacuum equipment to efficiently resolve drainage problems.
  • Excavations and Repairs: Perform necessary excavations and repairs to ensure optimal functionality of drainage systems.
Requirements:
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in the drainage industry is essential.
  • Technical Competence: Strong technical knowledge and competency in all aspects of drainage.
  • Driving License: Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
  • Punctuality: Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to approach and resolve issues logically.
  • CCTV Surveys and Plumbing: Experience with CCTV surveys, patching, and lining; basic plumbing skills are advantageous.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • CSCS Certification: Construction Skills Certification Scheme.
  • First Aid Certification: Valid first aid training.
  • CS1 Confined Space Card: Certification for confined space work.
  • High-Pressure Water Jetting Card: Certification for high-pressure water jetting.
Working Hours:
  • Regular Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
  • Night Shifts: 4 nights a month.
  • Weekends: 1 weekend a month.
  • On-Call Duty: 1 call-out week every 10 weeks.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: £34,000 to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Overtime Rates: 1/3 additional pay from Monday to Thursday.
  • Double-Time Pay: Available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
