The Role of the successful Building Surveyor

As a Building Surveyor, you will work independently within a collaborative consultancy team, delivering a mix of professional and project-focused services.

You will manage a diverse client portfolio across office, mixed-use, hotel, retail, and airport projects. With this autonomous role, you'll have the opportunity to manage your own workload, take on client responsibilities, and lead projects to successful completion.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide a broad range of core professional and project-driven building surveying services
  • Manage projects independently, from client brief through to completion
  • Develop and nurture client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact
  • Lead project teams, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes for clients
  • Collaborate with a tight-knit team while enjoying the benefits of an autonomous role


The Ideal Building Surveyor

This role is ideal for a Building Surveyor with a consultancy or private practice background who takes pride in independently managing projects.

  • Ideally RICS chartered or equivalent experience
  • RICS accredited degree
  • Background in consultancy or private practice, with solid experience in project and professional services
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and manage projects independently
