Commercial Manager
Our client provides bespoke security solutions for a variety of industries. They are seeking a Commercial Manager who will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy and execution to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
This role involves managing the full operations and business development teams, negotiating key partnerships, and ensuring the financial sustainability of the business. The successful candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the competitive industry.
What a day to day as a Commercial Manager will look like:
- Develop and implement the company’s commercial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead and manage the operations and business development functions.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships.
- Negotiate and manage key commercial contracts and agreements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast revenue, analyze profitability, and manage budgets.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Drive performance metrics to ensure business goals are met or exceeded.
- Present commercial performance and forecasts to the executive team and board of directors.
- Contribute to pricing strategies, go-to-market plans, and product/service positioning.
Commercial Manager - Experience
- Experience in security is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience (4+ years) in a senior commercial or business development role.
- Demonstrable success in delivering revenue growth and profitability in a competitive environment.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budget and performance management.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
